16mm shooting and developing workshop.

Ruangrupa is an initiative established in 2000 by a group of artists in Jakarta. It is a not-for-profit organization that strives to support the progress of artistic ideas within the urban context, by means of exhibitions, festivals, art labs, workshops, research, and publications.

Juan and I were part of their ARTLAB residency program in April 2013. At the end of our stay we conducted a workshop where participants shot a roll of 16mm reversal film in the Tebet neighborhood in Jakarta. They developed the roll in Ruangrupa's bathroom and we screened the footage in Ruangrupa's RuRu gallery that evening.
